Top Performing ETF’s Monthly Rotation System December Positions
Overview:
Well, we’re through Thanksgiving and it’s time to take a look at the Top Performing ETF’s Monthly Rotation System positions. As part of the Trend Following portfolio, I’m taking positions in 2 of the Top Performing ETF’s measured by a 1 year average rate of change. I currently have a position in FAN from November, but this month it fell out of the top two and will be getting closed out on December 2nd (Monday). Last month I opted not to take a position in TAN because it was the initial month for our system. This month TAN is still #1 and PGJ moved up to #2.
In an effort to be consistent with last month, I will again bypass taking a position in TAN. However, I will close the FAN position and open a new position in PGJ. PGJ just moved into the top two and gave us a valid entry signal. Charts of the Top 3 and the Top 10 rankings are below.
